Saber Stainton

Saber Stainton is a Perth-based contemporary Māori artist of Ngāti Porou and Ngāti Kahungunu descent. Motivated by her passion for communicating through creativity, she considers her artistic expression a tool to influence and inspire others. Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas, and in recent times, she has been exploring and loving the realm of digital media.

She draws inspiration from her culture and journey as a māmā, and loves to incorporate Māori design and whakataukī to help express the messages her art seeks to convey. Her style tends to consist of bold statement pieces, often featuring portraiture while embracing her love of colour and contrast. Saber is available for the commission of customised acrylic and digitised art pieces.
